Throughout his career he has distinguished himself in the field of heart transplantation along with cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery. Since 2006, Dr. Mammana has directed the focus of his practice toward the treatment of Venous Diseases.

It is Dr. Mammana’s goal to bring a better quality of life to those suffering from Venous Disorders such as non-healing and recurring Venous Ulcers, Stasis Dermatitis, Venous Insufficiency and painful Varicose Veins. Dr. Mammana uses state of the art techniques in the treatment of Venous Diseases.

These include thermal ablation, ultra-sound guided sclerotherapy, and stab avulsion phlebectomy, using a revolutionary form of local anesthesia. All procedures are performed in an office setting.
